1. Who we are
CellSkill (the "service") is an independent online learning project based in Morocco. The service is currently in beta and is provided free of charge. In these terms, "we," "us," and "CellSkill" refer to the operator of the service. "You" refers to the person using the service. For any question, contact us at hello@cellskill.io.
2. The service
CellSkill is an online learning platform for Microsoft Excel skills. It includes a public function library, industry-specific learning paths, hands-on exercises, an AI-powered tutor, and progress tracking. The service is accessible at cellskill.io.
The service is currently in beta. During the beta, features may change without notice, content may be incomplete, downtime is possible, and access to all features is free.
3. Your account
To use most features you need to create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to register. If you create an account on behalf of someone else, you confirm you have their permission.
You may close your account at any time from the dashboard or by contacting support@cellskill.io.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use CellSkill in any way that breaks the law or violates the rights of others.
- Attempt to access other users' data, reverse-engineer the product, scrape content at scale, or interfere with normal service operation.
- Submit malicious code, spam, harassment, or content designed to manipulate the AI tutor into producing harmful, illegal, or unethical output.
- Resell, redistribute, or republish the library content, learning paths, exercises, or AI tutor responses as your own work or in competing products.
- Use the service to train competing AI systems or to extract our content programmatically.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.
5. Content and intellectual property
The CellSkill brand, library, learning paths, exercises, designs, and codebase are owned by CellSkill or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use them for your own personal learning. You may not copy them for commercial use without our written permission.
You keep ownership of the formulas, answers, and messages you submit ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant CellSkill a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and process it for the purpose of providing the service, including sending tutor messages to our AI provider for processing.
6. AI-generated content
CellSkill's AI tutor uses Anthropic's Claude API. AI responses are generated automatically and may contain mistakes, outdated information, or incorrect formulas. Always verify AI output before applying it to real work — especially for financial, accounting, medical, or legal calculations. You are responsible for the use you make of AI-generated content.
7. Beta status and changes
CellSkill is in beta. We may add, remove, or change features at any time. A paid "Pro" subscription tier is planned for a later release; the current free access is for the beta period only and will not necessarily continue at the same scope after launch.
We may update these terms from time to time. If the changes are material, we will notify you by email or in-app before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
8. Payment (when applicable)
During the beta, the service is free. When the paid Pro tier launches, prices, billing cycles, and refund terms will be presented to you at the point of purchase and will apply only to your future subscription — not retroactively.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CellSkill shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you paid to CellSkill in the twelve months preceding the claim, or, if you have paid nothing, to one hundred Moroccan dirhams (100 MAD).
11. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if your use presents a security or legal risk, or if we discontinue the service. On termination, sections that by their nature survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) continue to apply.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Morocco, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
